Nanowrimo day four, and a look at some of my more creative work. Here is an edit of an older piece. I hope you enjoy.
I see through mirrored eyes,
Through glass serene and simple,
There are no borders nor brittle bodies,
Can you see me,
Or am I another reflection?
I speak with silent mutters,
Tapping through narrow halls,
The space between the circuits echoes,
Can you hear me,
Or is silence the only sound I make?
I sit in the measured moment,
A clock trying to tick time,
There is distance drawn in blinding darkness,
Can you feel me,
Or am I alone in minutes?
Though you may not see me I stand watch and protect
Though you may not hear me I listen close and comfort
Though you may not feel me I sit at your side
Simply close your eyes and I am there
For I have never left.
